Welcome to Jibber Jabber . . .

Jibber Jabber provides story inspired classes for:

  • babies, toddlers and preschoolers in venue classes
  • nursery settings
  • after school clubs
  • curriculum sessions
  • online sessions
  • 1:1 tutoring (age 5 – 11)

Who are we?

Jibber Jabber is run by mum, teacher and classically trained singer, Lindsay Kidd Churchill.  Lindsay has been a teacher for 18 years and has a wide range of experience of working with all ages of primary school children in all areas of the curriculum.  Alongside running Jibber Jabber classes, Lindsay currently delivers the music curriculum across all year groups of a large primary school in Bristol.  Through Jibber Jabber, Lindsay has also been providing Jibber Jabber sessions in nurseries and schools in South Wales for the past 5 years.

What happens at Jibber Jabber? Each session is carefully crafted around an inspirational story.  Age appropriate skills are then developed through games, music, art, sensory exploration and use of props.

Venue Sessions: We offer sessions for children aged 6 months – 5 years at Greenmeadow Farm, Cwmbran and in Rhiwderin, Newport.

Online Sessions: At this strange time, we are offering online, interactive sessions through Zoom.  Join us from your own home for our popular Story & Play sessions which will include stories, singing, movement, games and an ‘Inspiration Pack’ for you to continue the fun through the week using sensory, craft and messy play ideas.

Nursery Sessions:  Our Story & Play sessions are available for nursery settings as face to face sessions and virtual sessions.  Please contact us for more information.

After School Clubs:  Story Box sessions are available as weekly after school clubs and include story, games, music and craft.

Schools:  Curriculum linked story sessions including hands on exploration, games, music, craft and adventure.
